JMG Announces New Principals

We’re pleased to announce that the following individuals have been promoted to Principal at JMG Financial Group. Each of these individuals have been critical to the recent growth of our firm.

John Bollweg originally joined JMG in 2004 after graduating from the University of Iowa. He left JMG in 2010 to focus on retirement planning and decided to rejoin the firm in 2020. John enjoys any outdoor activities with his wife and two young daughters.

Marcus Velasco joined JMG in 2020 after many years of experience working on the institutional side of financial services. He also sits on the board for Springboard 2 Success in Chicago. On his free time, you can catch Marcus training for triathlons and keeping up with his wife and three young adult children of which includes a set of twins.

John White joined the firm in 2020 to focus on helping families achieve financial happiness after many years in the corporate environment. In 2004-05, he was deployed to Iraq while serving our country as a Lieutenant Colonel with the Marines. John enjoys time exploring Chicago’s art scene and spending time with his four children when they are in town.
