JMG Financial Group, Ltd. is one of the largest independently owned fee-based wealth management firms in the Chicago area. JMG provides wealth management services to corporate executives and high net worth individuals. JMG is in search of a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. This individual must possess excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced professional office environment. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn other business-related software, with which training will be provided. The duties of this role would include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process including identifying staffing needs, applicant search and screening and assistance in employee selection.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the search and hiring process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Utilizes social media and participates in college and university career fairs to represent JMG and attract talent.

A successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will need the skills to work effectively in teams as well as independently. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a reputable wealth management firm on a long-term basis. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a mid-level support position. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an exempt position and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after the initial training period. This position also involves limited travel.

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR designations are an advantage.

Compensation:  Base salary, bonuses and full benefits including health, dental and profit sharing.
